We’re in Lauterbrunnen in the Swiss Alps, and internet here is about 15 dollars an hour (at the cheap, slow place). Needless to say, we won’t be posting for three or four days. If you miss hearing from us, then go out and buy some cheese fondue and Swiss chocolate and stand in front of your air conditioner for a while.

Thanks for the post. In the Travel section of the Times Picayune this morning, they had several articles on the “Most Traveled Persons” in the world. When asked to name the best places he’s visited, the top guy, Charles Veley, mentioned Lauterbrunnen Valley, Switzerland, as “the most beautiful (civilized) Alpine valley in the world, ideal for hiking all summer.”
